I've been cruising the web looking for other racetracks also suffering from the heat of the summer, hoping to find hints as to how their operators prepare a track to maintain a competitive track surface and keep the dust to a minimum.

THIS is from Bert Lehman's blog in the Waupaca County Post in Wisconsin Shawano Speedway is, incidentally, the next stop for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.

And THIS is from CircleTrack.com, a feature from writer Dave Argabright on the track guru at Haubstadt, Indiana's Tri-State Speedway.
