There's been a lot of debate lately as folks feel like Duke's Jahlil Okafor may have played himself out of the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft.
Karl-Anthony Towns of Kentucky (one of seven Wildcats to declare early) is pushing to take that top spot while guards Emmanuel Mudiay and D'Angelo Russell are each considered outside chances to sneak in there.
Personally, I think Okafor is about as can't-miss as it gets. Are his free throws ugly and his defense uninspiring?
But he's a once-in-a-generation post scorer, in my opinion. I know the game is "moving away" from that type of player, but the fact remains that basketball is all about getting easy buckets. If you've got a guy that makes it easier for everybody on your team to score, you better have a heck of a reason not to take him.
That said, I know a lot of people who think Okafor's a bust waiting to happen.
Who would you take?
