Two South Dakota ranchers were named to positions with the Cattlemen's Beef Board during its annual meeting in Reno on Feb. 9.

Myron Williams of Wall was named to the board's 2008 executive committee.

Merrill Karlen Jr. of Reliance was among 22 board members who were reappointed.

Karlen was also elected to the 2008 beef promotion operating committee.

Becky Walth of Glenham is a current member of that committee.
