The Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce announces several staff additions and promotions. Nicole Woolridge is the new executive assistant to the president and CEO.

Before working for the chamber, Woolridge was a student intern for the chamber's Convention and Visitors Bureau. Shawn Powers has been named membership manager for the chamber. Powers recently moved to the Black Hills from Colorado Springs, Colo., where he was operations manager at a five-star resort.

Scott Seifert, formerly the finance director at the chamber, has been promoted to the position of vice president-finance. Seifert has been with the chamber for 22 years.

Pat McElgunn, formerly the public affairs director, has been promoted to vice president-governmental affairs.
