Skaare completes blood bank program
Jessica Skaare recently completed a two-year certification program as a specialist in blood banking through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Skaare holds a master’s degree in microbiology and was recently promoted to director of technical services for United Blood Services of South Dakota.
Rinehart attends wall-covering training
Jeff Rinehart, owner of Rinehart Paperhanging & Off the Wall Wallpaper Removal Service, recently attended training for JaDecor, an all-natural wall-covering that is a combination of cotton, silk and other natural ingredients, such as micas, glitters and shimmering threads. JaDecor is durable, seamless and has acoustic value. Rinehart has been in the wall-covering industry since 1985 and is a member of the National Guild of Professional Paperhangers.
Simmons attends special needs summit
Thomas Simmons of Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson & Ashmore attended the 2010 National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys Special Needs Summit in New Orleans, where special needs law practitioners networked and learned from speakers from the national disability community. At the conference, Simmons presented a session, “Pooled Trusts: An Introduction and Personal History.”
Industry honors master craftsmen
