The Panhandle Day of Caring, scheduled for April 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Prairie Winds Community Center in Bridgeport, is an event for family caregivers caring for an individual who has a disability. The day will provide networking opportunities with other family caregivers and vendor booths from agencies who provide services that could be beneficial. Topics for the sessions include: What is the Nebraska Caregiver Coalition, How a Caregiver Handles Stress, Overall Wellness: Mind, Body and Spirit as well as respite information from the Nebraska Respite Network.
