DEADWOOD | A new date has been set for the REO Speedwagon concert at the Deadwood Mountain Grand.

A news release from the venue says the concert has been rescheduled for Dec. 9. All tickets for the original concert date will be honored for the Dec. 9 show.

For those unable to attend the new date, refunds are available through the original ticketing outlet. For tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, contact Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000. For tickets purchased through the Deadwood Mountain Grand Company Store, call 559-1188.

The concert was originally scheduled for Jan. 21, but was postponed when lead singer Kevin Cronin announced he was having health issues. Cronin, 66, announced via Facebook that he's scheduled for a "routine procedure" that forced the rescheduled concerts.

Cronin assured fans that the procedure is not life-threatening complication and has been assured by doctors he will be “good as new.”
