Rapid City Stevens High School presents Second Samuel, the comedy/drama by Pamela Parker about the mysterious death of a sweet old lady that turns an entire small town upside down.
Set in the late 1940s, Second Samuel takes the audience to a sleepy little town in South Georgia during the end of World War II. The war had been won, the election was now over, and "Give 'em Hell Harry" was still president. The residents of Second Samuel are ready for things to settle down and get back to normal, when Miss Gertrude passes away suddenly and deep secrets are about to be revealed.
Show time is 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 3-4, at the Milo Winter Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. For more information, call 605-394-4016.
