Stone Brewing, one of the largest craft breweries in the U.S., will begin distributing in South Dakota in February.
Lizzie Younkin, a spokeswoman for the San Diego-based brewery, confirmed in an email that Stone will begin distributing in the state in early February.
Kathy Smith, co-owner of Smith's Liquor Gallery on Jackson Boulevard, said the would begin selling Stone beers toward the middle of the month.
According to a release, Stone Brewing will expand its distribution to all 50 states by March. Some of their year-round releases include Stone IPA, Stone Go To IPA, Stone Ruination Double IPA 2.0 and Stone Ripper.

Firehouse releasing bourbon barrel ale
The Barrel O’ Badger!, a bourbon barrel aged brown ale, is now available at Firehouse Brewing Company. The beer weighs in at 8.1 percent ABV and has a heavy vanilla nose and a warm, smooth finish. It is sold in 10-ounce pours and supplies are limited.
Dakota Shivers brewing choke cherry cream porter
Co-owner Linda Shivers said in an email that she is brewing a choke cherry cream porter; no word on when it will be released. For those who prefer their beer to go, Dakota Shivers added a crowler machine in October that cans 32-ounce beers. Growler fills are also still available.
There are currently two seasonal beers available: the chili beer Detonation Delay and a gingerbread ale called Soleless Ginger.

Work continues on new Hay Camp brewery
Construction continues on Hay Camp Brewing Company's new location at 601 Kansas City St. Co-owner Sam Papendick said an opening date for the brewery has not been set.
