Rock band Korn will perform its first show in the Black Hills on Monday, Aug. 3, at the Full Throttle Saloon during the Sturgis motorcycle rally.

"It's huge. It's going to be a massive show," owner Michael Ballard said of the planned show on a large stage on the Full Throttle's concert grounds. Opening for the group are local bands Corpus and Suicide Kings.

Korn debuted in 1994 and has made eight studio albums since. Some of its more popular songs include "Freak on a Leash," "Evolution" and "A.D.I.D.A.S."

Concert gates open at 6 p.m., and the opening acts will begin around 8 p.m. Korn is to begin performing about 10 p.m.

Attendees must be 18 years or older or accompanied by an adult. Tickets are available at the Sports Rock and Ernie Novembers in Rapid City, at Black Hills Choppers in Spearfish and at the Full Throttle in Sturgis or online at www.ticketmaster.com. For information, go to www.fullthrottlesaloon.com.
