WINNER - A motorcycle crash east of Winner in south central South Dakota has killed an Indiana woman.
The Highway Patrol says 58-year-old Sue Gentry of Rensselaer, Ind., was riding on U.S. Highway 18 about 1 p.m. Sunday when she collided with a car that crossed in front of her motorcycle trying to make a turn.
Gentry was taken to a Sioux Falls hospital where she died.
The driver of the car, 89-year-old Inez Woolhiser of Winner, suffered minor injuries. The patrol says she was cited for making an illegal left turn.
