MERRIMAN, Neb -- A 36-year-old South Dakota woman is dead following a rollever crash in northwest Nebraska over the weekend.
The Nebraska State Patrol says Thomasina Hartshorn of Hot Springs, S.D., was killed early Saturday morning in a rollover accident near the South Dakota border in Nebraska's Sheridan County.
Scottsbluff radio station KNEB cites the patrol, which said Hartshorn died when her vehicle missed a curve four miles north of Merriman.
The Patrol says the car went into a ditch and rolled nearly 13 times. The patrol says Hartshorn was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and she was thrown from the rolling vehicle.
