Gov. Mike Rounds will present a commemorative guitar signed by several celebrated rock stars to the National Music Museum.

The Ibanez electric guitar is signed by Steve Miller of the Steve Miller Band; Mike Love and Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys; and Stu Cook and Doug Clifford -- original members of Credence Clearwater Revival. The guitar was signed at the South Dakota Vietnam War Memorial dedication concerts in 2006, and is part of the governor's personal collection.

Rounds will also donate a collection of documentary materials related to the 2006 War Memorial dedication. Two concerts were held at Hollister Field in Pierre as part of the dedication.

Rounds will donate the items Friday at the National Music Museum on the University of South Dakota campus.
