I'm 54 years old on Medicaid and Medicare, my doctor passed on not too long ago. I got a call from his office the day I was going to see him telling me he passed on and I'd have to wait for them to fined me another doctor. I'm a heart- and high-blood-pressure patient along with breathing problems. My doctor was having trouble finding me meds for my heart that would work. My meds were almost gone and I needed more, could not find a doctor that would take me so I called my dr office asking for help was told to go to urgent care. The physician's assistant that took care of me wrote me a prescription for my heart pills and told me I had to find a doctor. She could only give me 30 pills I take two a day. I found out that I can't go back to my doctor's office and it may take six months to a year before they find a doctor to take his place. Do you know just how heard it is to fine a doctor to treat you for anything if you are poor ?

If you aren't rich, doesn't mean you don't have the right to live or get the help you need for yourselves. I found a doctor now, went six weeks to a month without one because I'm not rich and because of my insurance. The doctor's took an oath to help save lives. It doesn't say, if you don't have money or the right insurance then don't care or try to help them. This isn't right !
