Religion is the number one cause of murder in the world. More people have been killed because of religion than any other thing. I say we get rid of all religion. If people want something that bad to believe in to make themselves feel better then they need to be more creative.

You raise a very good issue nate712. If our federal government can just begin to systematically discriminate against certain sectors of our society, Muslims as you suggest, that will solve a lot of problems. After the first amendment is shredded, the rest of the constitution will naturally follow. We can then recall all our troops world-wide and begin to entirely dismantle our military since there would be very little left of our nation worth protecting.

    Now, Now, Now, Nate712,

I didn't suggest anything. I simply made a statement that these are usually the issues that have in the past, present, and future, create death and destruction. That's all, no retoric,no hate, just a simple statement. If you and Must Be Kidding would like to make it political, well then I guess, What Ever Blows Your Hair Back! But we are a product of our enviorment! We reap what we sow! And we are doomed to repeat it over and over and over again. Peace out people,Your part of the problem.

Oh great. Now that we discover the alleged gunman survived, you can guess what's ahead. When he goes to trial, we'll have to suffer through the "defense" that this guy was harrassed because he's Muslim.

    Oh great.

So the name makes him a radical Muslim? I have yet to see a religious affilation.

The media is now reporting that he was born in Virginia, grew up and was educated in the US.

My personal condolences and prayers to the personnel at Ft Hood.

My thoughts and prayers go out the the soldiers and families that have lost loved ones and have loved ones injured. My husband is military and this kinda hit home for me. We also have family down at Ft. Hood.

Malik Nadal Hasan. Sounds like he's one of our religion of peace Amish friends.

Better watch out, nate712. We're not allowed to talk about the fact that the guy was apparently a misguided Muslim for fear of offending someone. But you can bet if he was what liberals like to call a "Bible-thumper" that they'd be all over it.

so according to you we need to get rid of our borders, religion and our guns?? how about we secure our borders and not let radical muslims into our military or is that too politically incorrect? political correctness has killed more people than anything else on earth. and i'll keep my guns to protect myself from lunatics like this guy, you can guve up yours.

As long as there are Borders, Guns, Religion, we will always be seeing death and destruction. We do not learn from our history there for we are doomed to repeat it over and over and over again. Peace out everyone!
