RAPID CITY -- A man from Lemmon was sentenced to two months of home confinement, three months of probation and $866 in restitution for his guilty plea to stealing mail.

Claude Haugen was a contract carrier for the Postal Service. Federal prosecutors charged the 44-year-old with stealing a package meant for a person on his route that contained 20 American Eagle silver dollars.
