The 13th annual exhibit of research work of South Dakota college and university undergraduate students will be on display Thursday at the State Capitol, where the students will meet with lawmakers and the public.

The 2010 Student Research Poster Session will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, in the State Capitol Rotunda for public viewing. Gary Johnson, system vice president of research for the South Dakota Board of Regents, said the work demonstrates the important links between research and a quality higher education experience that includes public, private and tribal colleges.

The students chosen to participate in Thursday’s event are: Jess Moser, Gregory, Black Hills State University; Lisa Chase, Salem, Dakota State University; Toni A. Fritz, Pembina, N.D., Northern State University; Nathan Huft, Pierre, Eric Young, Aberdeen, Tyler Blumenthal, Rapid City, and Kevin Gray, Gillette, Wyo., South Dakota School of Mines & Technology; Tara Jeatran, Menomonie, Wis., and Diane Narem, Milbank, South Dakota State University; Heather Fluit, Sioux Falls, and Adam Bledsoe, Aberdeen, The University of South Dakota; Alan Sazama, Harrisburg, and Haley Gorby, West Fargo, N.D., the University of Sioux Falls; Helene Gaddie, Wanblee, Michael Thompson, Rapid City, and Elisha Yellow Thunder, Oglala, Oglala Lakota College; and Micheal L. Millard Sr., Mission, Sinte Gleska University.
