What a dumb idea for the Rapid City police to have volunteers with radar guns aiming at cars! In this day of so many goofballs shooting people in so many situations, who came up with this idea? Did you notice the photo? Could you tell from 50 feet away out of the corner of your eye while driving exactly what is aiming at you?

No police car around, just two guys on the corner aiming something at you! Do they really expect everyone to slow down and not take evasive action like speeding up to get away?

Sorry police department, but you'd better drop this goofy idea before someone speeds away to escape the guys with the gun and runs into someone! Or maybe people should call 9/11 and report the guys aiming something at them. The police would have to send an officer to investigate. That way at least there'd be a police car on site.
