In honor of veterans, all national parks and other facilities managed by the Department of the Interior will offer free entry on Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Entry is free to all, not only veterans.

Area national parks offering fee-free entry include Badlands National Park and Devils Tower National Monument. Wind Cave National Park will offer free cave tours at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. that day. Visitors will walk along the Garden of Eden Tour route, according to a news release. This ¼-mile tour is moderately strenuous, with about 150 steps, and lasts an hour. Tickets are limited and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All tours begin at the visitor center, located ½-mile off U.S. Highway 385.
