Delbert Stover spent part of this his Sunday decorating the front of his yellow school bus with a string of colorful holiday lights.

On the heels of last week's deadly mass shooting in Connecticut, Stover wanted to bring something to his bus that might brighten the moods of students and parents on his route.

Since many of his stops are early in the morning before the sun has even come up, Stover also likes that the lights make the bus easy for children to spot.

Stover, who is retired, has been driving a school bus in Rapid City for the past four years but this is the first year he has decorated his bus.

Good for you, Delbert -- always thinking of others and trying to make this world a little brighter -- not only for the students he picks up but for anyone encountering his bus along the route.

Now there is a bus driver who is doing the job because he likes the kids and is interested in them!!! Great Job!! Thanks and Merry Christmas!!!
