Tandy Leather has cow hides in many colors on special for half price at the stock show for $170 with tax included.

The manager of Tandy Leather, Tim Shatraw, said they usually sell for double that price.

They have a variety of colors like exotics and brindle stripes or a fawn brown, and apparently there are many uses for the decorative hides.

"These are super popular," said Shatraw. "They make great western decor in your house as a rug or cut down for upholstery."
