Average gasoline prices in South Dakota rose 7.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.38 a gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 628 gas outlets in South Dakota.

The national average increased 5.7 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.55 a gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Sunday prices in South Dakota were 0.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 35.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.

The national average has increased 28.2 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 7.2 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.
