REVA - A one-vehicle rollover killed two people Friday on S.D.
Highway 79 about 21 miles south of Reva in Harding County, the
South Dakota Highway Patrol reported.
The victims were driver Rebecca J. Wasserburger, 16, and her
passenger Anthony R. Wasserburger, 20. Both were from Rapid
City.
The accident happened about 5:25 p.m. Friday. Rebecca
Wasserburger was driving a GMC pickup truck south on S.D. 79 when
the vehicle drifted onto the shoulder of the road. She lost control
as she tried to bring the pickup back onto the roadway.
The pickup rolled several times. Both Rebecca Wasserburger and
Anthony Wasserburger were ejected from the vehicle and were killed.
Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt.
