In advance of the 36th anniversary of the 1972 Rapid City flood, the Journal is seeking survivors memories of the biggest disaster to strike South Dakota.
The comments will be featured in a package about the flood, looking at what impact it still has on the community today and how it is being commemorated by those who weren't even born yet when the raging floodwaters claimed more than 235 lives.
