The man accused of fatally stabbing Jeremy Kills Straight in Roosevelt Park in July waived his right to a speedy trial Wednesday.
Kevin Black Bear, 28, is charged with second-degree murder.
Black Bear returns to court on Oct. 27 for a status hearing.
