Flu shot clinics will be offered during the month of November for students attending the Meade School District.

The state is supplying the vaccine free of charge and there is no administration fee for the following school-based clinics.

- Sturgis Brown High School: 9 a.m.-Noon Monday, Nov. 24

- Sturgis Williams Middle School: 1-4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24

-Piedmont Elementary School: 8-9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25

- Stagebarn Elementary School: 10 a.m.-Noon Tuesday, Nov. 25

- Sturgis Elementary School: 1:30-4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25

The consent form is located on the Meade School District Web site. The form is also available from the school nurses and at the school the day of the immunizations. This form must be completed before the flu shot can be administered. If possible, parents or guardians are encouraged to be with their child when the vaccine is given.

For further information, call the school nurses' office at 347-2610 or Community Health Nurse Ellen Jenter at 347-5650.
