Build 'green' conference offers public discussions

Groups interested in government environmental policy will conclude a two-day conference in Rapid City on Saturday, Oct. 4, with several public programs.

The panel discussions include: 10:15 a.m., regulatory issues; 1 p.m., developing "green" businesses and communities; and 2:30 p.m., uranium mining, oil pipelines, oil refineries and coal-fired power plants.

The sessions are at First United Methodist Church, 629 Kansas City St.
