Man punished for hoax bomb threat

RAPID CITY - A Belle Fourche man has been put on supervised release and fined $500 for making a bomb threat at the Veterans' Administration Hospital in Sturgis.

David Dale, 51, pleaded guilty to the charge in U.S. District Court, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.

The false threat was made on July 26, 2006.
