Authorities say they have found a man who disappeared Friday morning after failing to show up at a meeting point in Wall.

Jeffrey Muetzel, 54, of Plymouth, Minn., and his 4-year-old son, Myles Muetzel, were reported missing after last being seen at 5:30 a.m. Friday morning at the eastbound Wasta rest area along Interstate 90. According to the report, the elder Muetzel was recently released from the hospital and placed on medication. Authorities believe he may be experiencing side effects from his medication and could be displaying paranoid behavior or have become disoriented.

Authorities said Meutzel was located Friday afternoon.
