Three establishments failed the latest alcohol sales compliance checks in Rapid City by selling alcohol to a minor on Oct. 30.
The violations occurred at Black Hills Coffee, 5950 South U.S. Highway 16; Bosselman's Truck Stop, 2783 Deadwood Ave.; and on the Jone Z Party Bus, the Rapid City Police Department said.
Citations were issued to Brady Kauer of Black Hills Coffee, Jesse Huffman of Bosselman's Truck Stop and Robert Haight of Jone Z Party Bus. The maximum penalty on conviction is 30 days in jail and $500 fine.
Establishments found in compliance included: Vino 100, Corner Pantry, Saigon Restaurant, East Side Plaza Casino, TREA, RC Aerial Eagles, Elks Lodge, American Legion, Hot Spot Casino, Superpumper, Joe's Place, Piesano's Pacchia, Asian Garden, Happy Jacks, Ichiban, Carolyn's Too and Sports Rock.
Since Jan. 1, 23 alcohol establishments have failed alcohol compliance checks.
