If that Christmas tree is starting to turn an unseasonable brown, the city of Rapid City is still allow drop offs at yard waste facilities city wide.
According to officials at the Public Works Department, the roll out containers will remain at the facilities until Jan. 25. City residents can also take their trees to the municipal landfill.
The City maintains three drop-off points. These are at Anamosa Street and West Boulevard North, Fairmont Boulevard and Fitzgerald Stadium.
