SPEARFISH - King and queen candidates have been selected for Black Hills State University's Swarm Days.

Coronation on Monday, Oct. 1, kicks off a week of homecoming activities at BHSU that conclude with a football game against South Dakota School of Mines & Technology on Saturday, Oct. 6.

The Swarm Day parade is 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Homecoming king candidates are seniors: Scott Luikart, Custer; Ian Vytlacil, Box Elder; Blake Schumacher, Hot Springs; Joseph Herzog, Miles City, Mont.; Casey Allington, Glenrock, Wyo., and Scott Schiefelbein, Clear Lake.

The queen candidates include seniors: Tiffanie Gebhart, Lemmon; Kelly Kirk, Beulah, N. D.; Stacy Anderson, Douglas, Wyo.; Rachel Nelson, Vermillion; Heather Smith, DeSmet, and Amber Elliot, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
