The Meade School Board will hold its regular monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the media center at Bear Butte Elementary School in Sturgis.

The 6:30 p.m. start of the meeting is one hour earlier to accommodate a new agenda item, program report. This month's program report is about the small learning communities at Sturgis Brown High School.

Action items include the third reading of the tobacco-free school policy, Williams building renovation design proposal, Teacher Compensation Assistance Program awards, strategic planning proposal, fine-arts curriculum and materials, Sturgis chamber facility use and Associated School Boards of South Dakota election.

Board members will discuss the results of the Summerset survey on becoming part of the Meade School District and the 2009-10 school calendar.
