RAPID CITY - A Custer High School student who was injured in Tuesday night's playoff game between Custer and St. Thomas More has been released from the hospital.

The game was halted just before halftime when Wildcat defensive back Jordan Konkol injured his neck while tackling a St. Thomas More player at midfield.

Konkol was placed on a backboard and taken to Rapid City Regional Hospital. The hospital reported Wendesday that Konkol had been released.

Custer coach Russ Bailey said Konkol was able to move his arms and legs, but was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
