PIERRE - Authorities in Pierre say a 16-year-old girl faces two counts of aggravated assault after stabbing her mother and stepfather Saturday morning.
Brian Hines of the Pierre Police Department says the girl's mother was stabbed twice in the face, was treated at a Pierre hospital and released. Hines says the girl's stepfather was cut on his arm but did not require treatment.
He says the stabbings occurred early Saturday at a Pierre home.
