PIERRE - There will be no recount in a primary election race between state Sen. Theresa Two Bulls and state Rep. Jim Bradford, both of Pine Ridge.

State Election Supervisor Kea Warne says Bradford didn't get all the paperwork in by the deadline.

She says recount requests were filed in Shannon, Jackson and Haakon counties within the required 3 days of the state election canvass, but Bradford missed that deadline in Bennett County.

Bradford and Two Bulls are both Democrats. He is term-limited in the House and failed by 28 votes to unseat her in the primary and move to the state Senate.
