Normally, when the South Dakota makes a traffic stop arrest and recovery of illegal materials, it's drugs they're finding.

But a Highway Patrol stop Tuesday on Interstate 90 west of Oacoma uncovered more than 1,000 pounds of stolen clothing, as well as stolen watches and perfume.

According to a news release from the Highway Patrol, a trooper stopped a vehicle on I-90 about 9 a.m. Tuesday. During stop, the trooper discovered the stolen clothing and about 14 pounds of stolen watches and perfumes.

The out-of-state driver and passenger were both arrested for receiving and retaining stolen property.
