Alt-metal band Godsmack is slated to perform at the Rock'N the Rally concert venue east of Sturgis during the Sturgis motorcycle rally on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Godsmack intends to have a 19-camera video shoot of its rally performance, so concertgoers at Rock'n the Rally coming to see the show may be filmed for the band's upcoming DVD, according to a news release from Rock'N the Rally.
The band has been on the road since May supporting its fourth studio set, "Godsmack IV," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 after its release in April 2006. The album generated the hit singles "Speak," "Shinedown" and "Enemy."
Other acts announced earlier for Rock'N the Rally at Glencoe CampResort are Tanya Tucker on Sunday, Aug. 5; .38 Special on Monday, Aug. 6; Joan Jett on Wednesday, Aug. 8; and Eddie Money on Thursday, Aug. 9.
