SIOUX FALLS - Defense lawyers representing two Hells Angels bikers charged with injuring six rivals in a 2006 gunfight have filed their list of potential witnesses.
Chad Wilson of Lynnwood, Wash., and John Midmore, of Valparaiso, Ind., are to stand trial Nov. 3 in Sioux Falls on five counts of attempted first-degree murder and one count of commission of a felony while armed.
Their lawyers say they may call as many 153 witnesses, though some of the names are also on the list of more than 200 people submitted by prosecutors.
The shooting happened Aug. 8, 2006, at Legion Lake Resort in Custer State Park, where Outlaws Motorcycle Club members gathered for the Sturgis motorcycle rally 70 miles away.
