A group of local piano teachers and their students will perform Sunday, Nov. 16, for "Blizzaid," a fundraiser to help people affected by the recent blizzard in western South Dakota.

The free event will be from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., in Tuscany Hall at Black Hills Piano Gallery, 333 Omaha St. in Rapid City (the former Dan's supermarket across from the City/School Administration Center.)

Attendees can vote for their favorite player with their donations. Cora Fried and Mina DeWitt will be featured at 5:15 p.m., playing a duet version of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." At 5:30 p.m., the group will present what organizers say will be the biggest performance of "Heart and Soul" ever played in Rapid City.

All proceeds will go to the Black Hills Chapter of the American Red Cross for distribution.
