RAPID CITY - With winds gusting in excess of 50 mph in parts
of the Rapid City area, officials at the Public Work Department
today closed the city landfill to cars, pickups and other small
vehicles.
The landfill will re-open when winds drop below 30 mph,
according to a news release from the city.
