No one was injured when landscapers accidentally cut a buried natural gas line, sparking a fire Tuesday in Founders Park near downtown Rapid City.

Rapid City fire officials say a spark from a shovel ignited a small gas leak about 1:30 p.m. near the Executive Golf Course on Omaha Street.

Lt. Rod Seals said firefighters used water and foam to protect a nearby building while Montana-DakotaUtilities Co. workers turned off the gas supply. Damage was contained to the heating and cooling unitsof the building.
