Guard welcome home ceremony set Aug. 29

Soldiers from Detachment 48, Operational Support Airlift Command of the South Dakota Army National Guard will be honored during a welcome-home ceremony on Friday, Aug. 29.

The 2 p.m. public program, featuring comments by Gov. Mike Rounds, will be at the Army Aviation Support Facility at Rapid City Regional Airport.

The unit was stationed at Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, while deployed.
