RAPID CITY - The Saturday, Nov. 3, Something on Saturday activity table at The Journey Museum will teach kids about time.
The table will feature an informational sheet about the concept of time, coloring sheets of various time-keeping devices, an array of clocks, watches and timers and an activity in which children make a paper cuckoo clock to take home with them.
Saturday is the end of daylight-saving time, meaning people are asked to turn their clocks back one hour.
The Something on Saturday table is coordinated by the museum's Teen Team and is designed for children in second grade and younger. There is no charge for a child to participate at the table, and children younger than 10 always have free admission to the museum. The entrance fee for the accompanying adult is $7.
For more information about the Something on Saturday table, the Teen Team or about programming at the museum, contact youth coordinator Kristi Thielen at 394-4103.
