RAPID CITY - A man pleaded not guilty Monday in 7th Circuit to robbing Walgreens at gunpoint July 19 and taking prescription painkillers.
Terry Vicars, 32, is charged with entering Walgreens on Mountain View Road around 5:30 a.m. July 19 and threatening the clerk with a gun to obtain OxyContin and morphine tablets.
He pleaded not guilty before 7th Circuit Judge Jeff Davis.
Vicars faces up to 25 years in prison on the robbery charge.
He also could face up to life in prison if convicted of being a habitual offender for a criminal history, which includes receiving stolen property, possession of drugs with the intent to deliver and criminal conspiracy, all in Pennsylvania.
