Kid Rock will return to the Sturgis motorcycle rally this year, performing at Buffalo Chip Campground on the opening day of the rally, Monday, Aug. 4.

The stop on the Rock N Roll Revival Tour will be in support of his new album, Rock N Roll Jesus.

"In the 27 years we've been doing this, I can't recall a single performer who so electrifies an audience with stunning musicianship and an outrageous stage presence," Buffalo Chip owner Rod Woodruff said in a prepared release. "I've never been disappointed in a single moment of any Kid Rock show I've ever seen."

Kid Rock joins other popular rally performers, including Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top, who will be performing at the Chip in 2008.
