Youth drug-prevention conference begins

RAPID CITY - The Western South Dakota Youth to Youth Conference begins Thursday, Nov. 8, at South Dakota Army National Guard Camp Rapid.

The conference offers students in grades 8 through 12 training in alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention from peer and adult volunteers. About 180 students and adults from throughout western South Dakota will participate.

The conference runs through Saturday.
