Thirty people from more than 20 different countries will be sworn in as new citizens of the United States at a naturalization ceremony at Mount Rushmore National Memorial on Thursday, Aug. 21.

The ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. on the Grand View Terrace under the direction of the United States District Court of South Dakota.

Dignitaries from the United States district courts, the Department of Homeland Security and the South Dakota Army National Guard will take part in the ceremony and administer of the oath of allegiance and proclamations of citizenship.
