Cavalry Days continues Saturday in Sturgis.

The annual Cavalry Days Parade will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 7, on Main Street in Sturgis.

The World Fast Draw Competition will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and a Kids Fishing Derby begins at 11 a.m. at Lions Club Park.

Re-enactors will stage Custer's Camp along with a Native American Encampment at the Sturgis Soccer Field. Also, there will be a cowboy band, square dancing, gunfights, games, races and children's crafts.

Other events include tours of the Old Fort Meade Museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fort Meade, the Art & Quilt Show at the Sturgis Community Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and tours of the Poker Alice House from noon to 4 p.m.

Chuck Suchy will be in concert at the Sturgis Community Center beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Suchy is a farmer/rancher from Mandan, N.D., who brings a special blend of music, philosophy and stories, shaped by living close to the land and his love of the Dakotas.
