RAPID CITY - A federal judge in Rapid City sentenced a 40-year-old Pine Ridge man to 10 years in prison for hitting a woman in the head with a stereo speaker.
Mark Cottier pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon for the Sept. 27, 2007, attack in Pine Ridge, which caused serious injuries to the woman.
